Education
In Haiti, only 20% of middle school and high school age kids stay in school.
Haiti’s school system is dominated by the private sector making school tuition too expensive for most families, especially past middle school. Our education program helps families overcome this obstacle by covering the cost of tuition & providing additional support to keep kids in school.
Ripple Effect of Education
Creating long-term effects on poverty in Haiti starts with education. Education creates a positive ripple effect across communities that allows people to take control of their futures & change their lives for the better.
We believe that when these children receive an education, they will be empowered to change their own lives by working hard, getting a job & taking care of their families & communities.
This will have a long lasting ripple effect on their communities by creating a more productive Haiti & allowing people to lift themselves & communities out of the cycle of poverty.
Providing Quality Education
We believe that quality education means more than just providing tuition and books. We have developed programs to support the physical & mental health of each child in our programs.
family Involvement
Strength in the Haitian family is a key value of Project Fleri. Many parents in Haiti cannot afford to pay for education in Haiti but dream of a better life for their children. Project Fleri’s education advocacy program allows parents to focus on supporting their child’s education without the financial strain.
Teacher Training
80% of teachers in Haiti have not received training. Through a partnership with P4H, an organization with an astounding reputation for successfully training educators in Haiti, we conducted a teacher training program in June.

School Lunch Program
Many children in Haiti don’t receive a daily meal. Our school lunch program provides the 900 children at St. Louis and St. Jude with a nutritious, daily meal to help them continue to grow and develop in and outside of school!
health resources
Our social worker and doctor work to ensure all children in Project Fleri’s program feel mentally and psychically safe and supported. They have created programs to help educate the kids and families on nutrition, reproductive health, and psychical hygiene. They are an amazing resource for the kids if they feel unsafe or need any medical attention.
