OUR MISSION

At Project Fleri, we believe that education is the most powerful tool in creating long-term change.

We work with families in Vivi Michelle to break the cycle of poverty through quality education. We take a holistic approach to make sure their emotional, physical & nutritional needs are met in order for them to academically flourish.

Quality education is not possible unless every child has the resources & support they need to succeed. This is why we work with the families, local community & social workers to ensure their educational success.

OUR STORY

Emily Booth was 13 when the devastating earthquake struck Haiti, sparking a lifelong commitment to the country and its people. She began traveling there multiple times a year to support the community of Morne L’hopital, forming family-like bonds with members of the St. Judes parish. Through these relationships, she gained a deep understanding of what Haitians truly need to thrive and decided to take action.

In 2019, Emily founded Project Fleri to help the people she loves flourish through education, family, and career opportunities. She established the Welcome House as a transitional home for orphaned children and launched an educational program that has since supported hundreds of students.

OUR TEAM

The Project Fleri team works directly with the children & families in our program and takes a unique approach to ensure every child’s success. We are wholeheartedly committed to each of these children with a focus on providing them a quality & holistic education.
